Our 2016 Moonlight White Bud is a whole new category of white tea. Made like a traditional Silver Needles (Yinzhen) from Fujian province, but using the big and uniform leaves of semi-wild old tea trees from our plantation in Pu’er, Yunnan, this is one of the most beautiful white teas around the world.

This is not only stunningly beautiful to look at and smells like a magnolia tree in full bloom, Moonlight White Bud is also a whole new experience in terms of taste. Much more flavourful than most Silver Needles but milder than a White Peony (Baimudan), this is one not to miss for all white tea lovers.

If you let it age for another 2-3 years, it will be a completely new experience again, as we expect this tea to age perfectly! Please make sure it is not exposed to elements and keep in sealed package.

This is a beautiful tea for cold brews or to create infusion with alcoholic beverages. We will be posting new brew techniques on our JOURNAL and Instagram soon!
